Interlibrary Loan

Do you need an article or book that is not owned by Northwestern?  We offer a service called Interlibrary Loan, where we borrow the item from another library for no charge to you.  Here is the process:

  1. Search the library catalog for your item.
  2. If not found, Request a book
  1. Search the Journal Finder by the title of the journal.
  2. If there are no results for your journal, or we do not have access to the date range needed, Request an article.

You will be notified of arrival by University email or you may check the status of your request at the Information Desk.
