Library Orientation

Use this guide to quickly learn about the services and resources the Greenawalt Library provides, including upcoming training, how to get help with writing, and getting started.

Library Facility

The library is located at street level on the south end of the building.   You will find:

  • Comfortable seating and study areas
  • Computers for general use or for access to specialized software, such as NCBE Board Review materials and Centricity Training.
  • Hole-punchers, staplers and other supplies
  • Copy/print machines
  • Anatomical models
  • Other things to make studying easier, such as headphones, free ear plugs, blankets, stand-up desks, exercise balls and chargers.

The library also features 14 reservable study rooms.  To reserve a room, visit the Greenawalt Library Study Room Scheduler.

How to Print

The library has both black and white and color printers.  If the library is closed, there is a printer outside of the auditorium (Black and white) and the copy room (color).

The University has two options that allow you to send print jobs from any computer:

  1. Log into any computer on campus and use the "Follow-Me Print" option.
  2. Using your personal computer and your "@nwhealth.edu" email account, send your document as an attachment to printing@nwhealth.edu

You can then retrieve your print job from any printer:

  1. Log into the printer by tapping your ID or keying in your ID and password.
  2. Choose Secure Print and use the secure queue to print your documents.
