Green Books, so named because of their distinctive dark green bindings, are books written by D.D. Palmer, the founder of chiropractic, his son B.J. Palmer, the developer of chiropractic, or the faculty of the Palmer School of Chiropractic between 1906 and 1966. These books were used for teaching chiropractic principles and methods and embody the chiropractic profession’s fundamental elements. For many chiropractors the Green Books define what chiropractic is and what it is not.
Here are the green books the library has. They are located either in our general collection or in our archives.
General Collection: Books can be checked out for four weeks at a time.
Archives: Books may not leave the library but can be checked out for in-library use.
