About Doody’s Review Service
- Doody’s Review Services’ mission is to serve as a trustworthy, reliable bridge between the health sciences publishing and library communities and to make the collection development work of health sciences librarians more efficient. To accomplish this, they publish objective, timely information and expert evaluations of newly published health sciences books.
- Northwestern Health Sciences University faculty reviewers are responsible for reading and reviewing newly published books about Complementary & Integrative Health.
Instructions for Reviewers
- Each book assigned for review comes with a sheet from Doody's that contains a Username and Password to access the online review form.
- Reviews must be submitted to Doody's within one month of receiving the book. If this deadline cannot be met, please contact Susan Vossberg to request an extension
- Reviewers may keep the books for their personal libraries
After Reviews Have Been Submitted
- Reviews submitted to Doody’s are published within two to eight weeks. On the day a review is published, the reviewer receives a copy of the published review from Doody's.
- Once a review is published, it is added to the Library's Faculty Scholarship Digital Collection at https://islandora.nwhealth.edu/node/15
