National LGBTQIA+ Health Education Center

  • Provides “educational programs, resources, and consultation to health care organizations with the goal of optimizing quality, cost-effective health care for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, and all sexual and gender minority (LGBTQIA+) people.” Their site offers free publications, webinars, videos, and learning modules on “the latest developments, issues, and best practices in providing affirming LGBTQIA+ healthcare.”

GLMA: Health Professionals Advancing LGBTQ Equality

  • “GLMA is a national organization committed to ensuring health equity for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ) and all sexual and gender minority (SGM) individuals, and equality for LGBTQ/SGM health professionals in their work and learning environments.” Their website includes news; resources for patients (including finding a provider), providers and researchers, students and trainees; advocacy resources; and more.

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Health

  • This site from the CDC features data and statistics on LGBTQ health equity and resources on LGBTQ health issues.

OutFront Minnesota

  • Collection of national and state-based health organizations categorized into general health, mental health, HIV and AIDS, and sexual health.

Rainbow Health

  • A Minnesota LBGTQ health organization formed by the merger of the Minnesota AIDS Project and Rainbow Health Initiative. They offer resources for people living with HIV/AIDS, mental health therapy and chemical health counseling, training and education for health care providers, and community health resources including the state’s largest syringe exchange program.
