Zotero is an alternative citation manager that works better than Mendeley for people with Macs. This webinar talks about how to use Zotero and compares it with Mendeley.

How To Write A Paper - October 4, 2021

More classes are requiring paper writing on campus but so many students haven't written a paper in years. This webinar covers the very basics of writing a paper such as

  • Why is citation important? What is in-text citation vs. a reference list.
  • Where can I find information on formatting a paper?
  • Where can I find information for my paper?
  • How do I even start writing a paper?

This webinar is new and we won't have time to go in depth in each of these areas but we hope to help students focus on the process, learn where you can go to get more depth on writing topics and learn how to set up more individualized assistance with a librarian or writing lab professional.
